This blog is a place to regularly share ideas, discuss issues, exhibit work and archive the diverse range of events which occur each year on Foundation Diploma/Level 0 Art and Design.
The programme is diagnostic and has been designed to equip students with the essential skills in art and design practice that will enable them to make an informed choice of specialism at Level 1. Students will receive individual tutorial guidance over their progression opportunities, the construction of their timetable and personal study pathway.
Our team are experienced teachers and practitioners with diverse skills and interests. We aim to expand our students critical understanding of art and design through an emphasis on individual and studio centred practice and debate. We will enable you to develop both your intellectual and technical abilities, maximise your creative potential and generate a professional working practice.
Our course covers a wide spectrum of art and design disciplines and has been created to help you focus your studies in the areas that interest you most. Drawing and experimentation are fundamental to all aspects of the course.
